This movie was really fun! I really enjoyed both segments, probably equally.
I loved Mr. Toad’s wild and carefree attitude, and his whole story was really fun. Also, Mole is seriously so cute. I also remember going to Disney World when I was like 6 years old, and going on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride (before they took it out of Disney World). I talked to my mom about it the other day and neither of us remember anything about the ride, just that we rode it. I also think I might have been really scared of it. I’d love to go on it again. :D
Sleepy Hollow cracked me up. Ichabod Crane is this really awkward looking guy, who comes over and eats all your food, and is a school teacher and yet he’s the stud of the town? I don’t get it. This is the only version of Sleepy Hollow that I’ve ever seen (never read it either) so I don’t know how much this one varies from the original…but seeing as how it’s Disney, I’m assuming quite a bit. Anyway, I could see how the end of that one might be terrifying for little kids, and I’m interested to hear stories about you guys.
Did you guys watch this movie as kids? Were you terrified or did you think it was funny?
